The journey
From kettle to barrel. From barrel to bottle.
Chapter 1 · Brewhouse
Born dense.
Terminus starts in the Campinas brewhouse as a 17.1% ABV barley wine — a beer at the edge of what fermentation can reach.
Chapter 2 · Wood
Down into the barrel.
Instead of the usual oak, barrels of Brazilian woods: amburana, bálsamo, castanheira and cumaru, each pulling the beer in a different direction.
Chapter 3 · Time
Waits as long as it takes.
Wood works slowly. A vintage only leaves the barrel when the brewer decides it is done — that is why each year has its own.
Chapter 4 · Bottling
Counted by hand.
The 2025 vintage filled 200 bottles of 700 ml, numbered one by one. The one in the photo is 001.
2026 vintage
One beer, four woods.
The 2026 vintage was released as four versions of the same 17.1% ABV barley wine, one per barrel wood.
